Photographic Negatives Available For Purchase
*Photographers* Joe Sherman, Nick DeVries, Russ Culver, and Cecil Davis operated a studio in Otsego and Plainwell from approximately 1935 until 2009. Together they photographed thousands of local residents from Allegan and Kalamazoo Counties. The Otsego Area Historical Society and Joe Sherman now jointly own this treasured collection of portrait images, and we want to make them available with those who wish to become reunited with images of their loved ones and friends from long ago, or as recent as 2009. What do you get with your purchase? Each sale transfers ownership of the image, and whatever else may be in the negative envelope, from the historical society and Joe Sherman to the purchaser. There are generous discounts for volume purchases (see the price list below). The historical society offers quality photo reprints from the negative at $5 per print, or you may purchase a CD with your scanned images for $5 per disc. Please note that to purchase the print or CD, you must first purchase the negative(s), allowing the transfer of ownership to you. *Thousands of images* have been indexed and are searchable. If a name you are looking for is not on the current list, then a manual search can be conducted by the staff.
